That’s where you come in.
You are an experienced receptionist or administrative assistant who greets each customer with a smile. You have experience with multi-line phone systems, filing systems, and basic computer software. A combination of education and experience will also be considered. If you have bookkeeping experience or education then we can discuss incorporating those tasks into your role as well.
You work with precision and love the thrill of meeting a tight deadline – but you also value your family time. You find pride in serving a customer to the highest standards and love solving problems.
In fact, you love organizing and making sure things are in order, but you also love interacting with real people. Whether it’s greeting a customer and helping them with something small or building a long-term relationship, a lonely job in the back room is not for you!
You’re confident in your administrative skills and you long to know and do more – higher level deeper customer relationships, and more responsibility in the business. You are organized and can multi-task with ease.

We are looking to hire one part-time receptionist/administrative support worker – if you have bookkeeping experience and would like to discuss expanding the role (still part-time or change to full-time) please let us know your interest in a cover letter. Wages will be based on education and experience. Regular office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 to 4:00, but we offer job flexibility.

Job Title: Receptionist/Administrative Support – Part-time
The position of Receptionist/Administrative Support is a position of trust and confidence in that the incumbent is responsible for maintaining financial records, and confidential information. The Receptionist/Administrative Support position provides general office support to all departments. The incumbent must have computer (P.C.) experience and will work with such software as: MS Word (word processing), Excel, and other database software. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining an orderly filing system, ensuring rapid retrieval of documents. If incumbent has bookkeeping experience the job title and duties can be redefined to include bookkeeping tasks.
Hours of Work: Two to five days per week, hours flexible. 15 to 20 hours per week. Additional hours to be determined if workload allows, and pre-approved by management.
Reports to: Manager (Jenna Steward)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Filing, reception coverage and other administrative duties.
- Respond to internal & external inquiries regarding invoices.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding status of payments.
- File organizing and binder preparation for fiscal year end.
- Assist with year-end audits, as required.
- Relieving workloads whenever necessary. Additional tasks will be assigned based on experience.
- Delivery and errand running, as required.
- Duties as assigned.

- This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising judgement and initiative.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed planning, organizing, controlling and administrative skills.
